 શકય હો તો, કર કદી આવી કમાલ

રાખ કોરા પગ અને પાણીમાં ચાલ

એમના ઉત્તરની માણું છું મજા
કયાં હવે છે યાદ પણ મારો સવાલ

હા, વસી છે એમાં ખુશબૂ કોઇની
ના અમસ્તી સાચવી છે મેં ટપાલ

ખ્યાલની ખોટી બધી બાંહેધરી
કોઇ ના રાખે છે કોઇનો ખયાલ

આમ તો દરવાજા ઊઘડશે નહીં
તારે શાયદ તોડવી પડશે દીવાલ

કોડિયુંયે જેમના ઘરમાં નથી
હોલવી નાખી છે એ લોકે મશાલ

 State Government

a. Veterinary HospitalsPrimary Veterinary Centers.

b. Organized State Farms for managing livestock farms.

c. Semen Banks/Sperm Stations – where quality bulls are kept.

d. Poultry Farms – for managing egg farms, hatcheries, chick rearing units.

e. Meat/Milk processing plants. – For supervising of hygienic collection & distribution of milk.

f. Polyclinics – where specialized service like surgery, special diagnostics, specialized treatment etc. is given.

g. Disease Investigation Centers – Survey disease profile and investigate any occurrence of a major disease.

h. Biological Products or Vaccine Institutions

i. Public Health Labs – investigation of disease transmissible from animals to man and vice versa.

a. Army (Remount Veterinary Corps) – to train and look after Horses, dogs camel etc. in the forces.

b. BSF/Police – to look after Horses, dogs, camels etc. in the forces.

c. I.C.A.R. – co-ordination and funding of animal based research.

Of India has started emphasizing on the growth and development of agriculture sector and next decade of significant economical growth is going to be in this sector, which in turn, will create more job opportunities in govt and private sector as well for qualified and trained veterinarians.

Opportunities Abroad

Equally open are the opportunities in global market, specially, in Europe and America, where qualified and trained veterinarians are still in short supply.

Easy admission available in US and other western countries for Post Graduation studies and research with Assistantship and stipend to take care of study expenses. After the completion of studies, job is available with average annual salary of US $ 40,000 per annum, as there is a shortage of veterinarians in that country.

Similar job and Post Graduate studies opportunities are available in European and other countries too for meritorious students.
